SKUSA SuperNationals IX
Date: November 12, 2005
Venue: Sam Boyd Stadium – Las Vegas, NV
Guests: Alan Rudolph and Ron White
Our third edition of the Happy Hour was set Saturday night- under the lights on the front straightaway of the SKUSA SuperNationals IX circuit. The show was the last for SKI editor Tim Blaney as the SuperNats will be his last event before stepping down from the Editor’s desk. With a new circuit designed for this year’s SuperNationals, we ask the designer, SuperPro driver Alan Rudolph how he came up with the circuit and his outlook on the main event on Sunday. Our first two-time guest, Ron White, joins us as well after taking three heat wins to start Super Sunday from the pole position.

EKN Happy Hour with Howden - Show 1

Venue: Iron Rock Raceway – Austin, TX
Guests: Paul Zalud, Rodney Berryhill and Ron White
In keeping with our mandate to continually raise the bar with the coverage on EKN and in Super Kart Illustrated Magazine, we debuted the newest addition to our package at the Stars of Karting Finale. The concept behind 'Trackside Live!' is to bring the EKN readership closer to an event than ever before by making the play-by-play call of the major classes available online. It's almost like being at the event. The program will also include our 'Happy Hour' program, an online radio show hosted by Rob Howden.
With SKI Editor Tim Blaney co-hosting and EKN's David Cole handling the production, we aim to provide you with a closer look at the sport through news announcement, discussion and special guests. Via the link provided below, you can access the inaugural taping, which took place at the Stars Finale in the Champion Racing compound.
